Saskatchewan announces Centennial Wind Power Facility
A 150 MW wind farm under construction by SaskPower International will be named in honour of the province's 100-year anniversary.
"By naming it the Centennial Wind Power Facility in honour of our first one hundred years as a province, we are leaving a legacy for the next century and in particular for future generations," says Premier Lorne Calvert.
The project, located approximately 25 kilometres south east of Swift Current, was formerly known as the Rush Lake Creek project. |
